This time, a top-down Local Comprehensive Plan.
Village plans informing Barnstable's 10-year plans are no more, now the town will present its plans to us. Thanks to all our members who communicated with BarnstableWatch. Here's our LCP commentary.
It wants to regionalize local functions, upend single family zoning, and usher in dense development. For years, it has stood down as Airbnb swallowed up homes, and turned them into hotels. Now it wants you to pay landlords and investors to not Airbnb homes.
